Sadhrana Bagh Bamboo House

A stone’s throw away from Sultanpur Bird sanctuary, the weekend home in Sadrana village is set in two and a half acre of agricultural land. The building has a sloping bamboo roof designed with inputs from the Colombian Architect and expert Simon Velez. Built using Bambusa Balcoa the roof derives its strength from concrete filled joints that are held together with threaded steel rods.
